Golden Eagle – A Favorite for Families in Chester

Golden Eagle offers 9 rooms with retro chic decor that connects to local culture. Each room includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a wardrobe, and in some cases a fireplace. Rooms feature unique memorabilia and a working record player with vinyl records for guest use.

A complimentary breakfast is served each morning with continental, à la carte, or full English/Irish options including fresh pastries and juice. The kitchen accommodates special dietary requirements such as vegan and gluten-free diets upon request. An on-site coffee house and bar provide additional drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The pub downstairs hosts live music performances and live sport events for guests. A jukebox and a carefully curated selection of cask ales add to the pub atmosphere. The bar also offers wine, champagne, and special diet menus for evening enjoyment.

The inn is situated within Chester's city walls, an 8-minute walk from Chester Racecourse. Chester Cathedral, Grosvenor Museum, and the Roman Amphitheatre are all within easy walking distance. Chester Zoo lies 6 km from the property, and Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 41 km away.
